Oba Iroko Church of God, Inc.

was established in Brooklyn, New York on September 07, 2005.  Oba Iroko Church of God, Inc. preserves the African Diaspora religion(s) and practices the Yoruba religion, teaching its customs and practices to its members and the public at large.  The Yoruba religion is the religion of the Yoruba people of Africa, one of the principal cultures from which the Black People of America originated.  The practice of this religion, through Oba Iroko Church of God, Inc., is consistent with the practices that have survived to this time throughout the Western Hemisphere.  Oba Iroko Church of God, Inc. teaches the gospel of God within and without the United States of America and promotes the teaching of the gospel of God among the members of the church and also nonmembers, to hire or procure the services of competent ministers and lay persons, with or without compensation to promulgate the teachings of the gospel of God.

Baba Johnny comes from an ancestry of spiritualists and healers.  A practitioner of spirituality for forty years and a priest of the Yoruba religion for thirty-two years, he was initiated by Tati Lopez, a priestess of Yemaya, and his godfather Eduardo oni Sango at 1320 Commonwealth Avenue on July 30, 1982.  He has been practicing the religion since.  He was the host of Metro Access Live as the main psychic reader on channels 38, 39, 44, and Manhattan channel 35.  In addition to being a trained, licensed, and certified healer and message therapist, Baba Johnny is a licensed wedding officiate and priest of the Palo Mayombe religion.  He has initiated over six hundred people into the Yoruba religion and is presently available for readings, consultations, and advisement.

Greggor comes from an ancestry of clairvoyants and clairaudients and has been receiving spiritual, intuitive, messages for the past three decades.  At birth he was initiated into the Egungun society and has a direct connection with the astral planes, evoking ancestral spirits and angels.  A natural healer, he is well versed in spells and candle carving, holding the ability to shift and align the balance of energies.  Greggor has been a practicing medium for the past decade throughout the West and East Coasts.  His godparents, John Gonzalez and Juanita Gallegos, initiated him into the Yoruba religion within the rites of Oya Yansan.  He is presently available for readings, consultations, and advisement.
